the way you used the 2x2's or however big they are to attach the walls is how i plan on doing it too. the only glass work i plan on doing however is a little where the sub face and the wheel well part of the box meet.

thanks for the pics

heres a little update for those who care lol...its not much, but i did some more work on moking up the new enclosure

not built that nicely...but it gives me a really good idea how to build it and if it will fit:uhoh:....which it will.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

wonder how thats gonna sound with the back seat in there
i imagine it will sound fine..my box right now for the ap has the port firing into the seat and most of the air just goes up and through the 6x9 holes. i was thinking makeing a baffle behind the seat to force all the air through the 6x9 holes and the center flip down piece

I was thinking about doin that too....make a baffle that makes all the air go through the 6x9 holes. Do you think that would be better then without baffles to guide the air?

I got another question. Do you have any rear fill in? I used to not have any in but then i put them back in. Do you think i should take my 6x9's out to let more air come through?

i am wondering the same thing..im not sure if i should build the baffle, or leave it. i guess that calls for a little project.

i dont have any, only time i do is when i have no sub it...then i throw in the pioneers. but when i have a sub in it make a fairly noticable improvement in airflow which of course allows it to be louder. so i would atleast try it without the rears..and if it doesnt help, then put em back in. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

wowzers.

i always thought that if you didnt seal off the trunk from the cabin and haveing the sub right behind the backseat it wasnt as loud as haveing it faceing the rear.i might be wrong tho //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

in my car...sub forward is louder. sub back is loud, but i get a lot of trunk flex..so i believe sub forward is optimum for me. i could be wrong though...when i put the ap back in later i will port forward and sub back. maybe im wrong hah. it would make my life far easier it is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
