Should be simple to verify. If he says the test was done by an independent lab, contact the lab.

XS power batts are 99% virgin lead, Kinetiks are made from recycled lead.
Not only do Kinetik batteries not meet their advertised specs, but they have been proven to have lower BCI standardized test output numbers than the XS power D1000. Those tests were performed on randomly purchased samples, by a dis-interested third party lab. (JBI incorporated)

even after reading all this, and not having any sort sponsorship from kinetik mind you... i'm still going to stick with my blue batteries...

Why? because they're reliable, cost almost half what the pm's do (after you figure in all the step down modules), i can run 12v high's amps no problem without buying MORE than the 2 stepdown modules that are recommend, and i live about an hour from kinetik's toledo warehouse.

I would bet the lab charges a fee and I wonder where the batteries came from.

That's quite interesting about the kinetiks. I've always thought they were more superior.

Anyone have any more info or done any testing?
