16v battery opinions??

I like my D1000s, never had any problems with them at all.

I run 6 D1000s, a DC POWER dual alt set-up and 2 Memphis 4KWs wired to 1 ohm each. Never have any voltage/current problems. Shouldn't though with 6 reserve batts and 2 alts, lol.

My alts are adjustable from 12-20v, the batts usually sit at 16.8-17.2v. Never seen them go below 16, except when i was running 4, i would get 15.5v. Adding the other 2 fixed that. With the 6 i'm running now, my electrical should support ~12kw efficiently.

whats the hightest you should run your 16v batts voltage wise?? **** dude that is awesome lol i'm only gonna be running a 4500D lol but i was still thinkin bout runnin dual alts

both kinetik and powermaster make great batteries.

I prefer the kinetiks just because they cost a fraction and are just as reliable, when used properly.

I charge at 18.5v. Could probably go higher, but it's harder on the batteries and shortens their lifespan.

Kinetik are good but they weigh more than powermaster D1000's (56lbs vs 46lbs) and they are not as strong.

3 HC16v batts are equal to 2 Powermaster D1000 batts.

what would u recomend for a 4500D on 16v? does 2 DC alts and 3 D1000's sound good?

well Rolls Surrette engineers the largest batteries i know of...
If 846aH isn't enough.. then what the hell are you running?

It's reserve rating is over 1,400 minutes on 16v.

If you going for SPL (which is what most people that use 16 volt batteries in car audio use them for) then aH doesnt mean much.

Powermaster is pretty much the better 16 volt battery.
