2 ways both require a hi output alt with a different regulator. kinetik has a 3 post battery 1 neg post 1 12v post and 1 16v post and powermaster offers a 2 post battery that requires a step down module.....

ok how will 2 8volt batteries produce 16v and plus i have an 220alt already so tell me more

wire them in series you save some money but overall they perform worse and are messy

if you did it with 8v batteries you would still either need that alt and module or run a second alt running at over 17 v to charge the batteries

Definately not worth the trouble imo.
