15s or 12s?

Currently I have 2 15 kicker comps (in a sealed box). They will not fit in the trunk, so currently they are just sitting in the back seat of the car. I am considering trading them off on craigslist for a pair of 12" CVRs because they would fit in the trunk. Another option is I could get a box for a single 15, and put one of the 15's I have in it. Which would be better?

Also my amp is currently a boss (yuck) stereo, 1600 watt (peak) amp. I will be getting something better in the near future.

could also build another box to fit in the trunk but out of the options if not rebuild do the 1 15 it will probably be your best bet

Ya I would do the 1 15 in a nice custom enclosure. Also what kind of car is this in?

If I built a box I would probably have to build it into the car because I'm pretty sure the box is about as small as one could get, and I'm not experienced enough to do that.

I will be getting a new car in the near future anyway so I don't want to waste my time.

The car is a 1994 Oldsmobile Cutless Supreme.

i just sold my 1996 oldsmobile cutlass supreme, what i did was one 15 ported and it literally takes up the whole trunk, there is no way i could of done 2 15's in there, if i were you id try to do just one of those 15's in a ported box.

you can comfortably fit a 4.5cf box in the trunk while still having enough room for the air to get by.

even a single 15 requires a large box sometimes maybe sell both and do some 12s that will fit well in the trunk more cone area and motor strength with the 12's
