1500rms 1 Ohm stable amp that is not harsh on electrical system

Well I can't really go to much over 1200rms in my car without upgrading my alt which I don't really plan on doing so I mean if the E-15s can handle 600 to 700 watts then I'm fine with them but if someone knows some decent 15s that would handle that power good at around the same price I'm open to suggestions.

I could do about 1400 or 1500rms after I get a better batt under the hood but I would have to upgrade my amp for that

before i got my alternator, i just had an extra kinetic hc1800 in the trunk running a 1600 rms amp and i didnt have any voltage drops under 13.4. As long as your above 12.5 your pretty safe to go all out.

That's good to know I have an HC800 in the trunk and hope to soon be getting a HC16 or 1800 for under the hood so maybe going with some better subs or the SA-15s would be a good idea and upgrading my amp down the road. What was your stock alt output and did you have the big 3 done?

keep the amp and run it on 1ohm

if you can wait go for threatcon2 shipping late august on presale right now for $109

How are the Threatcon-2 ? They look pretty well built from the pics and with a 160 oz mag. they should be able to do over 600 watts. And is this a trusted site to buy off of?

I owned a mbquart 1100 or 1200 watt class D, I cant remember. very solid amplifier.
I blew it because apparently you have to have a speaker hooked up when its on. I was running without a subwoofer while I figured out a new box design and build. It took about a month or 2 to get hot enough to blow but definitely something I wasn't expecting.

That's good to know before I and up doing it someday lol

at the time it was just a stock 80 amp alt on a 2003 corolla with only 4 gauge ofc on the big 3.

Think I might get a couple of the Threatcon 2 15s instead and since they are on pre order sale for $109 with this being the last day. I have never bought from car stereo giant. Is it a okay place to buy from?
