O.k heres the deal my alternator was shipped today and im getting my amp kit instaled tomorow (all of my friends are at school when im at home and at home when im at work) my id maxes need a week break in period and i wanna be able to send full power to them by next friday if i turn my amp down so that my subs are only getting 1/3 power at 1 ohm so 500 watts can i run it with my current alternator or will my amp take all the neccary power for 1500+ watts (hifonics Hercules amp)? o yeh i will also be powering a jensen amp at 120 amps for my 6'9's 500 watts is not that bad for now will i be able to run this or should i wait till tuesday when i get my new alternator??????

ok cool........ im not gonna be blastin constantly just when we go tro the club on saterday and sunday night will i be safe turning the heater and lights on of should i keep the heater off?

You're not going to have your alternator melt down instantly if there's a problem. If you're not going to be blasting something with a ton of bass there shouldn't be anything to worry about. It's entirely possible that even if you are blasting it there won't be any concerns.

i just want to point out that the gains is not how many watts your putting into it ( your saying if i turn my gains to 1/3 then ill have 500 watts wich is not ture)
