150 db sealed?

i am wanting three or 4 12's i would much rather have sealed because of how much easier it is to build abox i have or had 2bx1500's an 2 12" sx's in aported box tuned too 35 an it was loud as heck i got metered at an 146 on a new term lab i want something capable of around 150 . i cracked the cone on one so im thinkin of just getting 4 12" sx's an 2 hifonics 2200's in about an 6 cb ft box i was wonderin if this would be reasonable i am very open to other suggestions an btw its in an reg cab cut through so airspace is no issue i just cant go any larger than 12" b-cuz of my tonnoue cover an money isnt any real issue either.

Im going to tell you right now, that i dont think you wont be able to hit 150 dbs sealed with that setup, but it will be loud. 150 dbs will be hard to acheive with a sealed box.

No, if money isn't an issue, get something better than hifonics (lower line).

do u think that those 4 12's would be louder than my 2 ported.. money isnt an option but i dont want to spend money where i dont have to i dont wanna pay 1000 bux for two amps when i can pay 400 an some change.. what would yall recomend to be louder than them 2 12's i had, maybe 3 12's ported or so im not stuck on re i want what ever is gonna be the loudest with some sq prolly about 65/35 spl/sq what abou tthe new sound splinters i have heard good thingsd about them.

If you want to get louder than the sx's, and would like to try something other than the re, then the memphis mojos will do the job. But honnestly the 4 12s sealed may not even get as loud as the 2 12s, but i cant truely say. It would be very close though. It wouldnt be worth the switch.

not nothing againt memphis but i dont really care for them i dunno y but ill prolly just buy 3 12" sxs cuz i have one good one an one blew one. ill prolly put it in in an 10 cb ft tuned to 40 or so an 2 2200's .. appriciate the imput

I wouldn't expect stellar SPL performance from an SX sealed. Their displacement potential is nothing to write home about, and that's very important in a sealed setup.

Get better amps. Id suggest a pair of Orion 2500s, one per pair of subs.

first off, aren't the sx's d2's??? Which the 2200 would be running at 2 ohms per pair of subs....I wouldn't go that route.

And when I had my 2 brahma 15's running off 1300+ wts each SEALED, im tellin' ya it was close to 150 (on the new AC //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif )! But the new AC is only down 2-3 dbs from the new termlab. My friend has 2 RE HC15's off 750 wts each ported and he's doing a 147 on the new AC...and he's tuned to 30 hz. My 1 Brahma 15 ported was doing a 144.5 and again, the 2 Brahma's sealed was spankin' that easily. Hope some of those #'s and setups could give ya some kind of reference/help.
