15" Type R or 15" CVX in 3.3 tuned to 33Hz?

This would be an upgrade from my 12 type x using a ZX1000

Box is already made. Looking for overall deep bass and loud.

Reason for the choice of subs is budget. Looking to spend less than 2.

Honestly, you will more than likely enjoy the Type X you have now over a Type R or CVX. The type X gets a lot lower than the R, and the CVX sounds like shit but gets decently loud. If money is an issue, check out a DC LVL3.

I was thinking that more cone area would put out more. At least thats how read here on the forums. That's why I was thinking of upping it to the 15"

Either one will be louder than a 12" type x, I would go with the Type R myself.

dc level 3 for that price range, or sundown z15 v1,

the type R would be a better choice. Gets deep with good best but keeps good sound quality as well
