15" L7 at 1,500 watts

I have given a pair of l7's about 4000 total(not peak/legacy power, rockford power) for a very very short amount of time and well they were unbelievably loud but i would not reccomend it. They wont last, 1500 daily is fine but be careful on the gains!
id say with the 1500 if u keep gains reasonable like below 1/4 - 1/2 you will be good

bass boost always at 0 it ****s it up and play with the freq

the amp wont get hot or nothin runnn low, so amp life should be good for a while

sub work it in, get a good smell of new subs, and dont just plug it in and max it out

you stilll need to leave this forum tho...

don't make the box to tall. bottom of sub shouldn't have more than 6" of clearance.
put sub close to the port opening, make sure the back wave doesn't fire directly into the end of the port.

that is my final answer.
huuuh??? so put sub close to the port ending??? or away from...

and i was plannin on a 12" height more or less

why should you have the bottom of the sub no more than 6" from the bottom of the box i have 2 12's l7's in a box thats 33tallx13wide and 26long

subs are mounted ontop so about 26-27"from bottom of sub to the bottom of the box and the center of the port is 17"up from the bottom so about halfway up the box so around 8-10"from port

so plz exlpain

thanks
