14v battery on stock alt?

Hi I need a new battery for my 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo L4.0 would the stock alternator be able to charge the XS Power D3400 ok?

you need to upgrade your alt. Im pretty sure the grand cherokees have a 200-220A but its not made for the abuse you will put it through.

You are incorrect.

OP, only run 12v batteries on 12v system, but I think the D3400 is a 12v battery. In that case, you would be good to go.

Yea it is a 12v battery I originally was looking at one of their 14v batteries and posted about that but decided on the D3400 so I changed the thread lol. You think a stock alt is enough amps to correctly charge a battery like the D3400?
