YEA,,,, dont listen to my opinion, I have under 100 posts so that means that my ears dont work,,Im not capable of hearing the difference in the woofers performances....maybe when I have over 100 posts ill all of a sudden change my opinion and realize that the w7 isnt good and that the cheaper sub is just sooo much better... ANYWAYS, I am saying the same thing as alot of people about the W7's weather it be 1 post or 20,000, I like them,, they are great. Thats my opinion. Nothing wrong with hearing the same info repetativley, kinda reassures you that there must be something to those W 7's.

the problem for some people is that the price tag determines the quality...

as cosmic has proven...

and thats a noob mistake...

besides the cheaper sub that you mention cosmic is on the same playing field as the 13w7 for less...

but than again it doesn't take too much for that to happen...

edit: cosmic have you heard a fi sub before?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The W7 is a good sub, but there is better for the money. Personally, I'd take the W6v2 over the W7 anyway.

well im sorry, have you heard a BL yet??? 2 of my friend have these setups: 12W7 an a 1000/1, the other 12"BL on a Orion 1200d.... friend A paid well over a K for just sub an amp, friend B paid 800 an is louder. it may be bc friend A has a prefab ported box an friend B built his, idk... but to my ears the BL was louder an the SQ was decent, the W7 just sounded good...

Your intelecet is that of a newbs cause you automatically asume that Im applying the "more money, better quality philosphy" to everything when in actuality im just applying it to this particular case, that the more expensive w7 "TO ME" key words "TO ME" sound better.... I never said that higher price tags always means the product is better. I said that in this case that turned out to be true,, so get the facts straight next time before you try to look smart and be slick..

I was pointing out that the satement that you made, seemed to mean that the more expensive one was the better one...

I am not here for arguing, instead a conversation...

I never said liking the w7 made anyone a noob...

my teammate hit a 151 with a 12w7 and it sounded great...

but that doesn't mean that it is better than the fi.

yes we have opinions but unless you know both of the products being compared, your opinion is only so good...

noobs are good at using the rationale that because they have heard one sub before that sounded better than their sony's that the setup they heard was the best...

another favorite being when the guy at the shop tells you something and you than repeat it to everyone on the forum whenever you get a chance...
