i've metered on dash at the local shop with 1 jl12w3v4 on 300watts at 135.8 with a 1.4cu ported at 32hz in the trunk of an chevy impala 2003..

might want to recheck ur setup man something is completely missed there... i'm running all stock elect. and was on 4g wire.

the box is wrong i get that lol. read the comments before posting that its wrong lol. i know I'm not running the full 1k off the amp because of my electrical. looking to upgrade my alt. ik i want front facing port and sub. i can probably fit 5 cubes. maybe. my box now takes half my trunk but could be higher. so whats the biggest i would wanna go on the box? at 32 hertz. and the ports that pro rabbit sound good just concerned if i will be able to construct them. dimensions that i have to work with i will post shortly

okay so i have the specs that i think will work. 36 wide by about 34 deep by 16 high. so is there any way that i can make the face of the box at a different angle than 90 so that the 15" sub will fit better? i know that'll make the tuning harder but its worth it to get the sub to fit.

If you a using an 8th gen civic (I have a 2006 LX Coupe), the loudest I found in that vehicle is sub and port facing to the back. I also peaked at 51Hz (resonant frequency), so I would try a higher frequency if possible.

Btw, the most I got up to in my 2006 Honda Civic was a 145.XXdb with a 15" Nightshade on a SAZ-1500D. So something is definitely up with your current setup.

good to know. and do consider I'm only running maybe 700w.
