dude that built it for me is saying he tuned it at 34.7 hertz... but during the burps it was loudest at 40. so is it at 40 or 34.7?

not always true. op your in a newer civic sub forward port forward, build a larger box , tune lower , upgrade your electrical. you will see a huge gain

yeah. the next box id tune lower and face the port and sub forward with the seat down. i don't have the money for a new alt yet. so I'm looking for a way around it for the watts that Im running. would a battcap 2000 work for this?

Where in MN are you? I have an Optima yellow top I can sell you for cheap. That will get you somewhere with your electrical.

I'm going to do the big 3. and I'm kinda confused on the batt cap. I'm not looking for another actually battery. its the cylinder like batt cap or maybe its a power cap? its good if ur playing constant bass not big bass hits.

batcap 2 k is a normal sized batt . a small 1 or 2 farad cap wont help you. get he largest agm batt you can fit under the hood. dont waste any money on the cap.

just trying to get a good feel on prices for stuff. I'm looking at the best way to put 2 oa D2 15's it the trunk. id face the port out the front and probably have the subs facing up. the hifonics 2400 brutus is what i was thinking then just bridge it. or i could buy another apsm 1300 and run 2 of those separate. id rather strap them but i don't think they can be strapped. with all that and a new alt and new box id be looking at somewhere close to 760 - 860 (depending on if i get the apsm or sell mine and buy the brutus. thats without some extra wire or a batt or anything. so that was a lot of words so to explain that. ill have 2 oa 15's d2. and either a brutus 2400 or 2 apsm 1300's. any other amp options suggested? id also consider strapping other amps.

loudest trunk cars on earth are civics,look at everyone that holds a world record with one. not one is the sub/port orientation you speak of.
