127.8 hrtz!!!!!!! first budget build.

Finally into the audio game. One obsidian 15 d2. tuned to 40 hertz at 2.6 cubes. on an apsm 1300. stock 80 amp alt too. plus type r comps on a cadence 250.2. all ran on 4 awg.

Pretty **** proud of the build. I think we'd all agree this is the yes hobby EVER!!!! thinking bout going 2 of the 15's and somehow strapping 2 apsm 1300. or one hifonics 2400. in one box tuned to 34 hertz. getting a HP alt and throwing a batt cap in there somewhere. (don't hate on the cap)

Will be spend around 1200 for my whole system. any suggestions on how i can get more db? i have a smaller space to work with. about 5 cubes.

so you did 127.8db with an obsidian d2 in 2.6 cubes tuned to 40hz? You should be way higher than that

The site dosnt recommend going above 32Hz, i think with your 40hz port u screwed ureself outa alot of ouput.

I have the 12 D2 model coming and ive talked to the owner and pro-rabbit and even made a thread and everyone said tunning above recommendation was going to screw me lol. U may wanna redo that port to 28-32Hz

yeah guy screwed up my box was suppose to be 34 hertz. but still I'm reel happy for my first build. ill prbly be making a dif box soon. i don't have the full 1k off the amp tho cuz of my stock electric i think I'm only able to run like 700w.

I would do the big 3 first you should be able to do 1k on an 80amp alt with the big 3 done if not just get a small battery

and when i did the db test i didn't turn it up past the max for what i use it on for daily driving.

so you have a 15'' in a trunk, that is why your doing 127's. you need to let the air flow enter the cabin.

either fold down the seats or pull the back speakers out of the back deck to allow for some air flow. also, get some cleaner power from a better amp if you can. do the big three since you have the 2/0.

i have the back seat down. I'm going to turn the box so the port will be facing into the cab because right now its point right at the side and its only half a foot away. and the sub is mounted facing up. (weirdly designed box)
