1200 watts for Home Theater RE SE 12"s

How do I go about powering 2 12" RE SE's in a ported box for my Home Theater system?

Is there a way I can rig a car amp, like say a JBL 1200.1 to a home application amp, or would I have to get a plate amp?

And can someone suggest some good, reasonably priced plate amps (~$400,1200Wrms) if I need a plate amp.

For 1.2kW, I'd recommend a rack amplifier. For $400, check out the QSC RMX1450, should be right in your budget.
