$1200 to spend on system need ideas

thats why i am asking for ideas on what to buy and so on
Alright. The best thing to do in a situation like yours(where you're asking for ideas on what to buy, etc.) is to give as many details as possible. What kind of vehicle do you have? Do you plan on upgrading your electrical with this budget? Do you want to focus on SPL(sound pressure level; loudness), or SQ(sound quality)? Is this your first system? If so, have you heard other systems? Is there a specific system a friend of yours has that you want to "recreate", per se?

Do you plan on upgrading your speakers? Do you have an aftermarket head unit? Are you interested in deadening your doors and/or trunk, etc.? There are many different variables when calculating what products you want to use.

did not plan on upgrading my electrical but will if necessary will not come from 1200 dollar budget i want to focus on SQ and yes my first system and i not trying to recreate anything yes i want to upgrade my factory speakers and i plan to use dynamat for the deadening the dynamat also will not come from my 1200 budget

still looking for any ideas the SSA is a possibility, i can get 1000/1 slash v2 amp for 300 bucks but i was told not to get a 12w7 sub with it if i go that route what would be a good sub/subs to replace that

I'd get that SSA Xcon + Sundown combo. Should be nice SQ and get decently loud. Spend the rest on a nice custom ported enclosure from DC creations or Argent Audio here in the vendor section.

This. For your deadener, I'd suggest against Dynamat. You can get a product that's just as good, for far cheaper. AudioTechnix, for example, is a brand you can find on here in the vendor section, and you can get a 7.5% discount or something like that from using a coupon in one of the topics in the AudioTechnix section. For actually soundproofing your front stage, I'd suggest at least looking here: Sound Deadener Showdown - Your Source for Sound Deadening Products and Information

Even if you don't buy their products, you can learn quite a bit about deadening your sound. CCF and MLV are good for insulating and soundproofing your doors and floor from road noise and the like.

So SQ is first priority. A good set of speakers and deadening will be important. You dont need to spend the money on a JL amp. Buy a sundown saz1000 or something off of here and save a few bucks.

Do you want the subs to sound good, while having lots of output, like a normal vented box? Or do you like the rolloff and smooth low end of sealed enclosures? Sealed generally gives better sound, but at the low end wont have the car shaking output. It will blend more with the music.
