The specs I could find said it was only 1ohm stable. Have you run one personally at .5ohm?

The Xenons are great amps... The tantrum is even better but is very hard to find.

Tantrum puts out a little more power, but in terms of quality the xenon is far superior to it in build quality. Tantrum draws far less current, so its a bit more practical though. Either would work great. Another option to consider is the exile 1200.1.
