12' type X vs my 12 L7

no. first your l7 box is tuned pretty high and second the type x isnt a spl sub. l7 should be louder and its in a crx(bass box its self)tuned high it will get louder but your buddy's will sound better. also is his sealed or ported

is your's a pre fab and is his a pre fab. or are they both custom. any way what size box is your's. if all is correct you will be louder

I own both. Typs x's and L7's . Put them both on the same amp same car same size box. The L7's hit harder and get louder. The type X's do get loud, don't get me wrong. But the X's just overall have better sound quality to them. They can hit the lows and sound better doing it.
