12" Type-R VS 15" CVR

ive installed both id go with type r for better sq and cvr for spl

I think I might just go with the CVR.

I have heard good things about the Sidewinder too.

The 12" is about the same as a Type-R. Is this a candidate?

Is there a subwoofer that could be louder than these for the same price? brand new that is.

Showrides has been telling me about the sidewinder and I am throwing it in the pot, but I would like the opinion of someone other than the one selling it, no offense.

The setup will be powered by a Visonik v900hc.

2000rms*2 @ 1/2ohm

not real output, more like 1600-1700.

So, let me know. The budget is right at $500 and would like to get as loud as possible, but still have that rocker side of me too, so I need something with sound quality.

CVRs will be **** loud. I dont r trying to set it up for competing, or for a daily driver. But if I were you I would tune it low. Like low 30s. Mine are tuned to 32hz in a 4.3 cubic foot per chamber enclosure

Yeah, those S12L7s look good and sound good, but I am kinda worried about dropping another $100+ on my subs. I am not made of money YET, and kinda have to roll with the budget.

I remember my buddy had 2 15" cvrs and they were loud, but that was back when I thought it had to be loud to sound good. Before I knew what I was talking about. Not sure about them now.

I have about 11^3 to play with. The type-rs are looking better and better every day to me, but I am about tired of talking about which one to get and need to decide on which one.

Really? I was thinking they needed about 2.75 - 3.00 each. Guess that kinda tosses them out of my picture.

I may be wrong. But I was figuring it up by my box size. And I have two CVR15s. 4.3 cubes each. Tuned to 32hz

do the 15" cvr's......try and fit em in.....if u cant fit all 4 then do 3......
