12" type-E HELP ME

SO i ****ed up my type-r's ( dont even ask) anyways im back to my (2)10" kenwoods (300rms).... anyways so i see these (2) 12" alpines type-e's on craigslist but they are the old type-e's i think because they are white with the black E and i think the new version are black with white E in middle, ANYWAYS the guy wants $100 for the subs i think including box so my question to you guys is, would you make this upgrade if you were in my position?

I had some of those Type Es they were good subs, IMO

Not worth $100 though, I seen them earlier...

Doesnt come with the box though. Subs and grills only. Just powered them up last night. One sub is frsh out the original box and other sub is like new.
