12" Shallow mount subs

I did a brief search and didn't get much except this sub versus that sub type posts, I am trying to figure out which companies offer these shallow mount subs so I can compare the mfg. specs. I only have 5.5" mounting depth and .84 cuft to play with so this is going to have to be what I go with. Ideally, I would like no less than 400-700 wrms. per 12".

The box is built to "down fire" 2 12" subs underneath the rear seat of a Silverado... If that matters??? The mfg. of the box claims this "down firing" of the subs makes them louder, we'll see.

From my seach I found:

Fosgate P3 (400rms)

Kicker CVT (300rms)

JL TW5 (600rms)

Memphis ??? (???)

Kenwood ??? (???)

Who else offers these?! I'm undecided about "SPL" or "SQ" as I haven't heard enough to tell any differences. Model #s would be awesome if at all possible.

The new Stereo Integrity Mag has a 5.5" mounting depth and should be released very soon. The new SI BM is a true shallow mount subwoofer and will be coming shortly after with a mounting depth of 3.5". Either way you can't go wrong, SI makes solid products.

Sorry, I goofed. The box is 0.78 cu. ft. per chamber with a mounting depth of 5.75". I don't think those SI Mag subs will work after displacement, will they? Which would you guys go with considering the specs of the box? I wish I was a bit more knowledgeable in this area... The amp is a Directed Audio D2400, 1200 rms @ 1 ohm, 800 rms @ 2 ohm, 400 rms @ 4 ohm and 200 rms @ 8 ohm.

The SI BM looks about right!!! Any idea on what pricing will be like??? Ballpark?

The mags are already in production, so release shouldn't be too far away. No idea when the BMs will come out, but you ought to be able to at least fit one Mag.

Otherwise, there are plenty of great 8" subs out there that will work nicely in your situation. There are also many conventional subs that will fit in that space. Phoenix Gold RSd and Memphis M-Class off the top of my head. Both are great woofers,

Also, the Memphis shallow mount is the S-Class.

Pioneer makes one that only needs like 3.5-4" mounting depth.they actually don't sound bad
