I had 2x Fi Q's playing out of a vented enclosure, powered by a AQ 2200d amplifier. The subwoofers have played fine until recently to where if the volume goes past a certain point, the subwoofer's volume is significantly lower and more distorted.
I'm pretty sure the problem isn't the ground cable as its connection is fine and the front-stage does not cut out or distort or volume is lower. The speaker connections seem to be fine, there is a small burn spot on the distribution box where the power cable splits to go to the subwoofer amplifier and the plastic has melted a bit but it has been like that even before this problem occurred. There is no issue with the amplifier when the problem starts, the protect never light blinks or becomes solid, there are no strange smells coming from the equipment and no sign of visible electrical issues.
I haven't checked for smells within the box or connections within the box, both of which I guess are fine but still I have not checked. Anyone have a slight idea of what may be causing this problem?
