Oh and just to say, I didnt measure the motors with a tape, so the size thing is purely my speculation. The mag back plate actually looks 1/16 bigger now that I look at it.
But thanks for clearing up the motor specs Nick.

No..backplate on the Q is larger.

It's a dual 2 ohm sub. The amp will see an average of a 1 ohm load. DC resistance is NOT the constant load the amp will see. My dual 2 ohm sub reads 1.4 at the leads with a DMM.

Seriously man, I have no idea. It might have something to do with the amp load. With the mag it was 1.3 DCR, now its .7 DCR

like I said man the difference in loudness is definatly power as you are prob getting a .7 load on the 20.1 now.

Incorrect. The minimal difference in power will NOT be audible.
