Can't go wrong with a Q, it's a solid performer, but they're not identical.

lol i have a 12" woofer setting in my floor that looks identical to an 05 XXX, but i guarantee it will sound nothing like one.

btw you realize jimj did test both drivers (and a lot more) right?

Manny decided to keep the subs and get them reconed to the coils that match his other ones...guess the low end wasnt so bad at all, or figured out that the Q's don't roll off like XXX's do on the upper end of the spectrum...

However, he did pay for them.

To the people that can afford it, I'm sure it's probably pretty good. Whether or not it's worth that, I have no idea, I've never heard one. I have heard an MR and a Mag, and I can make the statement that the Aura is worth it if you can afford it...
