12' L7 questions

i have a box that is 4.2cf and is ported to 38hz.

will 2 L7's work good in this box.

on kickers website my enclosure is in the middle of the min/max volume for spl for these subs.

FYI, i have 2 phoenix gold xenon 1200.1 to power each sub, about 1300 watts RMS that would be feeding EACH sub.

what you guys think?

looking for a relly good street beatter

i currently have 2 12ich mtx9500's in there now looking to swap them out

FYI i am sellling the 2 mtx 12inch 9500 for $450 pls actuall shipping, there is still 9 months left on manufacturer warrenty as they were bought from an authorized dealer

that should be good, just make sure you set your gains right.

You should be alright. You'd probably be better off with a bigger box, but if that's what you have run it and try it out.

I would do it. I've had L7s in that size box but tuned to 33hz and not giving them as much power as you have. It was one of my favorites.

ill be carefull thou, since they are powerful amps i can make sure that there is minimum to no clipping going on and still have alot of headroom in the amp for spl burbs if i want.

So what about my question

I was thinking about running two 06 12" L7s in a 5Cft Box tuned to 35Hz and powering both off a XX Herc at 1 Ohm for about 1K watts each to the 12's.. would this be decent also?
