Hey, I'm going to be building my first box and I got some dimensions off the JL 10w6v2 manual. The size of the box seems just about right to fit inside my trunk. What do you guys think about that box? Can I build a better one or is the one in the manual good enough?

1.25" x10.5 x 30" Slot Width x Slot Hight x Slot Length

17.25" Port Extension Length

This all came from the manual.

Btw, I drive an acura tsx, going to be running rainbow cmx 265 kicks in the front and the 10w6v2 sub in the trunk. JL 300/4 for the front and 500/1 for the sub

if the site says its what is recommentded use it, but that is set-up for dif things. What are you wanting to achieve?

Check out this site and play with the designs. you can find what you want and at the right freq. as well with your port. It weill also give you the measurements of all the cuts

IMO, I'd go bigger than what it calls for. I always do and have never been let down yet.

okay, after messing around with it a little bit, this is what i got. I don't understand to much about frequencies, but this is what I got.
