10's vs. 12's Alpine type Xs

Im just wondering if 10s would be better thand 12s alpine type xs. I listen to mostly country and rap. Weird combo but what would be louder and still have really good sound quality. When i listen to rap i go for spl....Country Sql

If you have the money for 12's then there is no reason not to get them.. 10's will not be any better, they will just have less output. SQ has nothing to do with sub size. In a proper box, the 12's can sound great SQ wise, and the X's are mainly SQ oriented subs anyway.

Well what is your budget?... And will these be DVC 2 or 4 ohm?

prolly like a 1200 including the subs What can u get more out of 2 ohms dvc or 4 ohm dvc?

12 Type x is 250$ BNIB off ebay and you get a Orion 2500D for 550$ BNIB with warranty from HCCA fan . Get the Dual 4ohm version so you can run 1 ohm paralell. So 2 12's is 500$ + shipping and 550$ for amp not sure if that price is shipped you can pm him though.

Wow thats a great deal i need need to sell my stuff first... Thats the only thing o and new speakers....I think i still have a long way but im doing this!!!
