What are the main advanatges/disadvantages/differences between 10 inch and 12 inch subs. This has been answered before, but;

The main differences are usually going to be power handling (higher for the 12), frequency response (lower for the 12, all things being equal, but this is highly enclosure dependent), and output (higher for the 12, again, enclosure dependent).
