id say 10's...ive experienced every size except for 8s and 18s .........10s definitely sound the best in SQ......alot tighter bass and not as sloppy at high volumes like 12s and 15s can seem to be

go with 12s

12s sound way louder

for example i have 2 10" alpine sws-1041d and 2 12" alpine sws-1241d.

and the 12s sound 3x louder then my 10s

tight bass is install dependant....

What was the enclosure specs? Subs?

I like whichever one fits my budget.

if you listen to rock or anything like that go for 10's..but if you listen to RAP R&B go for the big 12's or 15's

Because U Can......u Can Take A Bullshyt 12 Lets Say Pyramid Hyper Pro 12..and Slap It Into A 1.25cubic Ported Box And If It Take 40 Inches To Bring The Frequency Down To 30hz...so Be It...u Just Have To Break Up The Port In The Box ..thats All
