i guess xmax isnt that important for burps?

Xmax has nothing to do with burps, since the subs can be/are pushed well beyond their linear limits since distortion is not a concern.

o and another thing i forgot to add, I had a 12 SE before and it was cool and everything but I noticed that its mainly as SQ driver and it prefered the lower frequencies. That was coo for certain songs but then the punchy bass was not there. I dont wanna get another sub like the SE that will stick to the lower frequencies thats why im unsure of the IDs because of how "good" they will sound. Also the FS is the frequency of the driver right? So the lower the FS the lower the peak?

Yes and no. The resonant frequency of the "system" (sub in the box) will be different than the sub alone, and will vary with box size.

so lets say the box size is made to hit a little higher than that FS, will the sub with the FS of 22 or 34 hit the higher notes better?

How well a sub hits "higher notes" will depend on it's inductance.

well yea kinda. Like I said before the SE was alright but lacked on the punchy bass.

If you want punchy bass, be sure to go for a higher Q alignment

that would be done with the size of the box right? I think I might get the ID V3s cuz they are cheap and seem to be conservative on the power.

i know sometimes people exagerate their reviews but if its anything like the one on cardomain they should be cool. By the way would it be enough with the 250 watts or would they need more?

heres the review:

Just picked up a pair, but only have room for 1. At the moment its severely underpowered by a JL e4300, even at these low power values does it play crisp and solid. I would reccomend this sub to SQ fans, only untill I get a high powered amp can I review for SPL fans. Then we can see what these subs can do when paired up with 1000watts!!

EDIT: Just picked up JBL 600.2- both subs at full max spl crushing power busted my rear deck covering apart. Snapped all the mounting clips...yeah I think it works fine now! New cars with perfectly air tight trunks beware.
