10s low watts small space

So lets say for about .75 cubes each. What would be a good bet? 187s? IDs?

Again I have 300-375 watts for each sub.

Yea but saying that the install would be the same. .75 cubic feet each, the JBL amp wired to 4 ohms so about 750 watts,

In terms of linear displacement, the IDv3 slaughters the 187. Which means that in a daily install, it should be louder over the entire bandwidth

even though the 187s have more sensitivity? But then again companies always use different methods of measuring that. So basically the ID V3s would be louder than the 187s? What about IDV3s and the RLIs? Im not sure on what the xmax is on the RLIs but I know they handle more watts. Like 350. 100 more watts than the IDs. What u think squeak.

yea I know the RLI 8s have like 18mm xmax but are smaller and the guy told me that the 10s would have more output. But are u sure the 187s would not be as loud as the RLIs or IDs? Cuz i the numbers dont look so bad. FS of 33 and sens of 90?

LIs are supposed to be really loud too but they dont have much excursion...and i start thinking about the stroker...

mind you i understand that youre talking about daily overall output. i guess xmax isnt that important for burps?

Sensitivity has nothing to do with how loud a speaker can get.

The IDv3's would pretty much kill the 187's, considering they would have ~3x the amount of linear excursion.

IDv3's vs. Rl-i's is a pretty close matchup. Both are excellent sounding drivers with comparable amounts of displacement.
