1000 RMS Subwoofer

How about this; Below is my 1.0 cu-ft sealed box. I added a handle so I can easily yank it out for a 4th passenger. Dimensions are 20"W x 7"H x 20"D (bottom)/ 17.25"D (top) (3/4" MDF) = 1.0 cu-ft interior volume. The sub is an Alpine SWS-1043D (300W RMS/ 900W Max), which has a recommended sealed box volume of 1.0 cu-ft.

see if you can find individual bucket seats for the back put one on each side and the box in the middle
Dude that is pretty sweet but I dont think I want to put that much money into it.

Does anyone kno the rd sonance RMS rating? I just read up on the rd classic and I am thinking about just putting one in an enclosure like the one posted above. I already have a 500 rms alpine amp that would work pretty good with it.

Or the other option is to sell the alpine buy the hifonics for $25 dollars more and then make a slanted box to put on my backseat and fire it forward towards the drivers seat. But i am still clueless on a good sub for this setup because I think the hifonics would be too much for the sonance? But i cant really find any power handling ratings.

bump?

If the hifonics is too much for the sonance then I guess I could just throw a pioneer pro series in a pretty much square box up on the backseat that doesnt touch the drivers seat and fire it forward.

Or keep the alpine and buy an rd classic subwoofer and put it in a box like pictured above?
