10" SQ subs???

So do you want a SQ sub or not? You originaly asked for an SQ sub, yet you then say not just SQ but one that can get loud also??????????????
Oh and the subs listed are not very good SQ subs.
I would personally think the Infinity Kappa Perfect 10 an SQ sub. Can't consider it an SPL sub. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I would consider it an under par sub, but that's just me. Of course it will be more SQ oriented than SPL, but far from an SQ woofer IMHO.

One time at a local dealer someone had a Kappa Perfect 10 and he wanted to try something new, so we put one of Audiopipe's highest subs in a similar sized box (Small sealed) and we all got to hear the Infinity **** the audiopipe in output and SQ. It was cool. =) That said, I don't consider it subpar because I've heard so much worse.

yeah i think that's more or less what im looking for: "more SQ oriented than SPL"

i heard infinity kappas have a so clean and smooth bass, that's why im considering...

oh and they must be on about the type r price... and some brands i don't have access to, once they don't come here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

the w6v2 will **** the infinity.
w6v2 will **** your pockets to, not the same league.

I have 2 10" perfects, they sound pretty good, and get decently loud. They are pretty much the best I heard, cause everyone I know gets their subs from like circuitcity. They are decently loud for me, I never really do crank the volume on them though.

W6oe, W6v2, W7 all have superior SQ.
Elemental Designs O series also.
As in they meter more accurately than the Kappa Perfect, or just sound better to YOUR ears? Also, what part of "Type R Price" (~$100 / sub) does JL Audio W6 and up remotely fit into?

To MY ears. Except the edO, i've heard all GREAT reviews.

The perfect is one of my fav. drivers of all time. People who think they have no spl potenial are fools. Port, tuned LOW.

I still the the ol' W6 is the best sounding sub i've ever heard.

I need an absolute sound quality 10” sub that will perform in .5 cubic feet space. I have to mount it in the spare tire well and want quality over loudness.

What can I choose from for around $300?
