10" L5's Need ported box

Ive been looking and looking for specs/deminsions for a box for these subs. 2 10's 2ohm dvc with kicker dx700. I want ported, i want SPL, little SQ (their 10's, how crappy can they actually get?) and want to sound good in an SUV. I listen to mainly rap/r&b so as you probably know, can get away with having lower sound quality. I dont need no spacesaving box, since it will be going into a suv. I want to build something that will hit low notes, as well as some high notes.

I know people have asked this same question many times, but they always ask for space saving boxes because they want them in a trunk. I found someone that posted this, and was wondering would this be about as good as it gets for these subs/amp? http://img10.imageshack.us/my.php?image=35cubes35hz54sqin9ij.png may have to copy and paste that link.

Any help is greatly appreciated, since ive been searching for days now, lol.

I thought, if anything, that it was small? I am the one asking questions though, heh. Im not use to seeing both subs share the same enclosure, normally divided. If the box linked is pretty dead on i'll build it, if i should change the size or something, i will. Im starting to regret ever buying 10's if i wanted spl......

Id like the design to look somewhat decent, not cheap throw together. If im starting to get too greedy ill stfu, just lemme know. Can i expect to feel any bass with these subs/amp in this rodeo? Ive owned 10" type r's befor, but that was in a small 2 door zx2, sooo a little different.

Thanx again for any/all HELP!!!

Yea that box is dead on, but your giving them subs 1.75 cuft each. After speaker displacement, your still ending up with 3.2cuft or so. Most 10s doesnt want a big huge box. Look on Kickers website and find out the specs on boxes and go from there.

man i have one 12" L7 in a extended cab s-10 and it has 2.5 cubes to it's self and it hit's like Ali. i have never herd so much bass out of a single 12. it does lack in sq but the L7's (Im sure L5's are about the same) can knock your block off. but i would try to get at least 1.75 to 2 cubes per sub. the squars need room and when you give it to them, return the fav....by flexin your window. hope this helped some....lata

Why would he need 1.75-2 cubes per sub for a 10? Hell most 12s are in that range. 10s dont need as many cuft to get loud.

But like I said before check Kickers website and find out what they say do as far as specs for them.
