Not real sure but they do take more power than 500 ...I have a couple of 15s and 8s in this series...the 8s I ran a DB drive PD2000.1 into a pair at 1 ohm so over 1000 rms each with no issues...

The dayton Is of mild interest but those cdt mid tweets have peaked my interest for a while now

I have an Orion XTR pro 10", D4. it fits your requirements very well. Interested?

Although the IDMAX 10 is my recommendation, I've installed Dayton HOs in 2 cars and built a pair of folded horns using them. The Daytons are certainly nice for the money, but they are not the same caliber as an IDMAX.
