Further confirmation that these amps have to come out. He pulled up about an hour ago and this is what we found.

Voltage is fine...

Imp was fine...

Everything is fine.

Maybe it's not 100% DC, but when I replace the cone and put both subs on the "good" amp...I get bass. I put it back on the "bad" amp....nasty things happen. I put a different amp on that woofer....I get bass. So....maybe it's not just DC'ing....but it's definately bad. The fuse before the amps exploded.

Put a meter on the outputs and I get next to no AC voltage output.....turn it to DC and I get way more than I wanted to see.

After getting all the info together and calling a couple people to ask a few questions....this is what we came up with.

Getting the rest of the coil out of the gap was a biatch.

everything can blow up just depends on luck and user. their is no amp out their that is impossible to blow same with subs. so since the amp blew i guess only one amp is gonna be for sale for a while since you said in another post its not the first time you blow a 4kw and last time it took around 6 weeks to get it repaired.

btw make sure to post pictures of the new setup. 4 subs and 4 amps should hit at least 3 dbs louder. at the very least

No sergio......I had nothing to do with the first blown amp,before my install

And yes sergio....the new install will most definately wang....just as this one has for two 12's and the amps at 2 ohm nominal.
