1 Tahoe + 2 Solo X's + 2 Mojo Amps + 2 Kinetik 2400's = My attempt at Meade post =)

Here is my lousy attempt at a "Steve Meade Post" (I love ya Steve!!!)

Local guy brought me his Tahoe to redo the system. He wanted it louder and I told him I would hook him up.

The box he had was 5+ cubes per chamber....WAY TOO BIG in my opinion. Plus th ebox was big and bulky and took up so much room.

Chip and I pulled it all out today and I am amazed at some of the JUNK I found.

4 gauge connecting the batteries together with 0 gauge out to the amps. RCA's with bent tips, spliced wires, the speaker wire on the mids and highes wasn't even stripped...they just hoped the allen broke the jacket for contact I guess. Wires connected with electrical tape...OMG...too much to list.

The truck will do a 146.9 as it sat... Pulled the cones out first and they were charred. Completely black and melted.

So...here we go with the rebuild pics!!!

wow. i think you should have the box with the amps and the box with the subs the same height, other than that it looks good.

it was done so when the amp was mounted like it is...that the top of the amp sat flush with the top of the box.
