soundstream digital bass reconstruction processor???

no experience with that unit..but watch out for this part Output Level: 13.5 volt

It's pretty vague on the description:

Max. Bass Control

Dash Mount Remote Control

Bass Restoration Lighted Display

Parametric Bass Control

PFM Subsonic Filter

Balanced Inputs

Bass Output Control

I've had the PG basscube, a rolling bass EQ, and an altomoble SUB-16, a parametric bass EQ, and an Audiobahn bass line driver, parametric bass driver. This unit seems to have pieces of all three, so maybe it is trying to be an epicenter.

Does this work the same way as the audio control epicenter and does it work as well anybody had experience with this?

well, the patent on the bass reconstruction algorithm has come up this year IIRC, so i'd expect to see a lot more epicenter clones.

i have no idea what PFM subsonic filter is. it sounds like "pulse frequency modulation" which is a modulation technique, not a filtering one. i'm a bit interested in what "PFM" means.

looks like a fairly good balenced input stage, 60dB rejection isn't bad at all.

now i don't know how much i beleive 0.003% thd from a product designed to alter the sound.
