u wire it like this

with dual 1 ohms the total load will be 2 ohms.

wiring it in a series

If its not a Dual Voice Coil Sub that is a 4X4 and is a single 4 ohm you have to install a 4ohm resistor inline to get get 2 ohms.

Wiring ---------------- + -----Resistor 4ohm------- To speaker +
