Grounding RCA into Amp ground?

Ok, I messed up my Pioneer deck around 1 month ago. I sent it in and it got warrantied, and came back 'fixed'. They said it had a loose ground on the RCA's. More like I blew the ground off.

Anyways, It came back with 'less' alt whine noise, but it is noticeable if driving less than 35mph. So I'm just going to try and fix the problem myself. I've already did all the tests and it isn't the RCA's or amp.

Do you think it would be safe just to do the RCA ground mod from the RCAs at the amp into the main ground cable for the amp?

I'd take 2 shots of 14 gauge wire and wrap/solder them to the RCA's at the amp and then just tie them down in the input with the main ground cable for the amp.

Would this be safe to do?

Lol, You helped me in the GF thread on this.

I tried it on her deck, and it did not work. I'll try it on mine.

Now, to better help me with this. The ground loop isolation is because of a lack of grounding from the RCA pre-outs on the back of the deck to the Decks actual chassis? If so, if I grounded the deck to somewhere in the car (alot of plastic in-dash, hard to find a solid ground point) and then tied the RCA's into that line at the deck chassis, this would help greatly?
