if you get one amp, say 2500 watts total output, divide that into two drivers...monoblock, etc are basically the same amp...so if you want two amps, adn each one to get 1000 watts, get two 1000 watt amps, now if you want one amp, that will do 1000x2, since you have two drivers, get a 2000 watta amp...and divide the power. No need for two amps, when you can get as much power in one chassis.
