1 alpine type x vs 2 alpine type r

i'm doing the 2 type x's in ~4 cubes @ 28-30hz on ~3kw (1 type x 12 per mtx 1501d)

i gots two type X's in a custom box specs in sig, and they hit hard sound good too, there seeing right at 1200w rms a piece, love the x's tho man, cant say anything bout the r's tho never heard any

i just swapped out from a pair of sealed type-r 10s with 600 each to a ported (34) single type-x 12 with 1000 and it is night and day. i am thrilled with the result and would never consider going back. i still want to make a fg corner box sealed for the x but that can wait a few weeks. now that everything is installed it's time to start rebuilding the bike for the summer.
