Bass Heads.....is adding another sub worth it?

Inspired by BigHurb, I'm thinking about adding another sub.

I currently have 3 12" JLw3v3's-8ohm subs in a sealed enclosure, paired with an Hifonics BIX2008D amp. The ohm load is 2.666667 and my amp puts out a 1300w @ 2ohms. I'm thinking it's putting out around 900-1000 watts now at the current load, giving around 300-340w rms to each sub.

I'd like to add another sub, giving me 4 subs that could be wired at a 2 ohm load. Giving me roughly 325w RMS to each sub. I would then, copy big hurb, lol, and have a custom ported enclosure built to specs. If bigboyy would be as kind to design one for me as well!!!!

Do you think that would boost my output significantly? I can get another JL sub for around $200, or I can buy one off the net (but I prefer the warranty at the local shop). I can get the box built for $75 to $100. That would also allow me to pass my old box down to my cousin, so he can upgrade to 3 subs, then I can take his dual enclosure and swap that with the single sub box I have in my charger......so everyone wins.

I know I won't see my full potential until I completely upgrade my electrical components, but I already have the vision in my head......so is it worth it?
