1 12" SE setup Help

My original plans were to run 2 12" Memphis PR's ported.. but I was interested in running 1 12" RE SE, around 2ft^3 ported tuned to 32Hz pushed by a Viper D600.1. I was wondering how loud SE's actually get.. would they be comparable to 2 PR's or 2 W3(v1)'s? My goal is an SQL daily driver with enough bass to make myself feel semi-uncomfortable.. in other words, not all that quiet. This would be going in a 98 4 door Explorer.. THanks for the help.

I had the SE 12 running off a JL 500/1 in a ported enclosure that was 2.25 tuned to 27 hz or so and I thought it sounded great and got very loud for a 600 watt 12 inch sub. I would highly recommend that set-up.....also it all depends on what is loud to you.

I heard a pair a few months ago, and they were ported low, not sure the tuning, but they were on a 800 watt amp, and were doing very well IMO

My SE is set up pretty much how you want yours. 2^3's tuned @ 33hz. I've got a Directed 1100D running it with 800 watts. The SQ is very good with hardcore music with double bass and what not, sounds freakin amazing. The rap type music is a little "questionable" to me. I mean yes it get's loud inside my truck but outside it's not to loud. So if you are just looking for something to "please you" (which you should be anyways) then yes that setup will be very loud and have good SQ at the same time.

If 1 12" SE ported will own 2 12" W3v2s then I'm sold. If an SE is truly that loud then I'd be more than satisfied.
