between those 2 i would go with the w7 but there are others i would have instead of those 2.

I havent heard alpines...but ive heard theyre not too great..for the price of a W7 i dont know that its worth it but its an amazing sub

i ll get an amp to fit the subs once in get the subs i was just wondering what brand of subs to get

Both Alpine and JL make nice subs. Heard a 10" Type X today actually at a shop, have already heard the 12. They don't disappoint.
