08 Harley with JL System

i agree with the hardware. gross oversight on an otherwise amazing and unique install.
That's all I was trying to say. All that hard work ruined by crappy hardware, but other than that and the Fleckstone in the box, it looks real nice.

shoulda put a wall with some 15"s on that bike. probably would've got way louder on the meter too.

haha, jk, a lot of work for a clean install it looks like. that job probably could've been half-assed in a few hours.

Upgraded alt on the bike? The stocker is a paltry 35A. That and the fact that I don't want to lose space in the saddlebags is the reason that I haven't don't much to my big bike other than a speaker swap and adding an aftermarket XM receiver.

How does the output from the sub vent outside the trunk?

The speakers are polypro cones, a little bit of rain won't hurt them much at all.

ive never liked dressers
I didn't used to like them either, but there is no comparison out on the open road between a touring bike and a cruiser. I've ridden my Lowrider all over the western US and Canada. Now that I have a Street Glide, the FXDL will probably never leave the local area again.

Huge fan of having a radio for the long hauls, too. It's not like there's anyone to talk to and the drone of the exhaust gets monotonous after awhile.

makes sense, i just cant see that much audio being neccesary since itll be droned out mostly.

That is a killer install man! I'd love to do something like that with mine. Bet it sounds real nice cruisin down the ol' super slab! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
