07 Ram Wiring Assistance Needed

I am in the process of wiring up my new head unit into my 07 Dodge Ram and I have a few questions.

1. My H/U "Clarion DXZ585 USB" has 2 yellow battery wires, a 15 amp and 3 amp. Would the 3 amp (buss lead) go to the yellow on the adapter "Metra XSVI-6502" and would the 15 amp (memory lead) need to go to the battery?

2. The my H/U does not provide a wire for dimming but the adapter does. My question is if I cap off the dimming wire on the adapter will I run into any issues as it comes directly out of the adapter module?

3. Will the ground provided by the adapter be sufficient or should I go ahead and ground the unit itself?

1. I'm not sure hopefully someone will chime in on that.

2. Capping it off won't be a problem at all.
