i see 2 oz mat and about 10-12 layers in your future. that has no strength.

I dont know about 10-12 layers...

I figure 5-7 layers with a little bondo outside and deadener inside should do the trick!

well the design has 0 bracing ur going to need 7+ layers of glass and i would recomend a layer of duraglass then bondo.. did u try to cut round rings? if u dont have access to a jasper jig rings can be custom ordered from ED.com it would give alot better end result

awesome! yes, I am planning a layer of mar-glass then 2 skim coats of bondo then some hi build primer and Ill color match the box to me car.
