06 mustang build. PICS

Rawr...the hell its not. You cant put in/remove anything more than 3 cubes or so. And that is really pushing it.
Even if it had a smaller opening, or is just not very deep at all, my car is alot like that, except the trunk lid's arms go into the trunk, instead of those actuators that don't get in the way...then there's the bars that help pop the trunk open and keep it open instead of something easy.

Now I have to either cut holes and seal them for the lid, or make the box smaller to clear them.

id have the subs facing in to the cab not into the trunk
x2 fiberglass the back wall(wear backseat would be) building the box into the trunk then mount the amps in a false floor where the rear seat would be. that would bring sexy back!

Okay i can do that, I had only thought of facing into the trunk because of limited space.

Yes its a v6, I'll show an outside picture

I had plans on running the 4 runs of 1/0 through the center console and down under the carpet, thats the easy part.

4.5 cubes was basically building the box inside the car though.

Which way should the port be faced? into the car between the subs.

up through the rear deck? Or back into the trunk ( if into the trunk remember it will be mostly sealed off from teh inside. I am not sure if there will be space for it to enter where teh rear speakers are

And how many cu ft should i aim for.

And it took about 1 and a half hours to take everything apart take pictures, stare at it and put it back together. Ford's half *** design actually dissambles quickly and assembles well..

uhm, 2 runs of 1/0 for positive and 2 for negative. Running close to about 9000watts peak.

Excessive amperage 300amp alt

3 kinetic hc2400's

100 ft 1/0 is all on the list to come first after a large secondskin order.

which way should i face the port?

where ever you can fit it. =p

9000 peak? Whats the real RMS rating?...so you're running like 5k rms watts I guess. Any reason for running negative wire to the trunk, not a good ground back there?

One of those subs will eat that 5k watts and spit it at you =p. I hope you got batteries =p.

two rockford fosgate t30001bd's should put out close to 4k each. so thats 8000watts plus a good 1000watts or so for front channel and rear fill. thats my 9000 watts rms actually.

But a kinetic 2400 under the hood and 2 in the back. I might be running 3 in the back depends on what i can afford at the time.

Sounds good, definitly pushing the wiring a bit, be sure to calc. the max power for those wires and fuse them accordingly so that you don't lose your car in the future!
This i know, i havent exactly calculated it out yet. I have to recalculate how much power im running through the wire again. I stepped up from where i was gonna be at before. and i might be even be thinking about running the t4001bd's and thats gonna put me at about 10,000 watts. honestly i need two 300amp alts but I dont have that much room for 2..

You don't really need that many alts, It could help, but as long as you have the have enough batteries and you play your stereo with your car running, and you don't constantly play your music way loud where ever you go, you probably will get away with just one 300 amp alt.

To be on the safe side, yes...but you can try it, and watch the wires to see if they're getting hott, and if there is a big voltage drop from the battery to the amp...if you do 3 runs, you'll have less resistance and won't lose as much power as well, that'll help keep it effiecent...you can't go wrong with 3 runs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
